C.N.R.LOCOMOTIVE #1043 - DIESEL ELECTRIC POWERED ENGINE THROUGH ECKVILLE

The locomotive was built in London Ontario, at General Motors Diesel, in 1958 as a Model EMD-567C.

Diesel motor generates 1200 horsepower through 12 cylinders for the electric drive.

It was built on Flexicoil A1A-A1A truck.
